CPR and AED is designed specifically for Laypeople and is an an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting. This extremely flexible program will help prepare to respond to a cardiac arrest and choking. This program conforms to the 2015 AHA guidelines update for CPR and ECC.
The Basic CPR and AED course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult victims. Rescuers will learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack, stroke and breathing difficulties. Students also learn how to perform CPR using a barrier device and how to effectively use AED (Automated External Defibrillation).
